I should have paid more attention

I'm not much for memorizing anything more than a 2 item grocery list. Thus, I don't know a single nursery rhyme or bed time song. Once, for a nephew I sang REM's "The One I love." For whatever reason, soon after first holding Gavin and looking at him sleep, a U2 song I haven't heard in years popped into my head. Now, he calms nearly instantly when I hum or sing this to him.
